What’s Your Vision?
Before you create this grand plan for your life, become clear about who you are and where you’re going. What life were you born to live? What does that look like? Would you know it if you woke up and were living it or would you reject it?
When you have a vision for your life, it doesn’t mean you have to have all of the details. Some things will be revealed along the way. You just need to know where you’re supposed to be headed or at least have some sense of the direction you’re supposed to be going in. Otherwise, like the Cheshire cat, you won’t know where you’re going and any road will definitely take you there (from Alice and Wonderland).
Take time to be still. The answers are inside of you. Quiet your mind and minimize the noise around you. Then listen. Listen to your heart. When you do that, then you will be able to listen to others with different ears. Then what others say to you just might confirm what you already know or it might give you another piece of information to bring clarity or help you take another step toward what you should be doing or where you need to be. Go easy on yourself. It might take a while or it might be easier than you think. Be patient, but most of all, stay focused on living, enjoying, and sharing the life you were born to live!
